Choose a Project from Subversion

To demonstrate how to download a sample or demo source from the Nexaweb repository, this section provides steps to download the EasyTrader demo application.

To dowload EasyTrader from the Nexaweb repository, follow these steps:

1. Start Nexaweb Studio.
   For example, select Start > Programs > Nexaweb > Nexaweb Studio 3.0+ > Nexaweb Studio 3.0+.
   Nexaweb Studio starts.
    
2. Access the SVN repostiory from the Nexaweb Studio Welcome view as follows:

   - Click the Browse and Download Samples and Examples link in the Nexaweb Studio Welcome view.
      The SVN Repository view appears, displaying http://source.nexaweb.com/pub.

   

   - Click + to expand the repository.
   - Click + to expand truck .
   - Click + to expand demos .
   - Click + to expand java.
   - Right click on EasyTraderJava under java and select Checkout.
     
   

   The Check Out As dialog appears.

   
    

3. - Click Finish to accept the default project name and workspace for EasyTrader, 
      or click Next to specify a project name or workspace for it.  (If you click Next, the Check Out As dialog prompts
      you to specify a workspace. Specify the workspace and click Finish.)
      - An SVN Checkout progress dialog displays.
      - If a Java license agreement appears, click I agree.
      An Upgrade Nexaweb Support dialog appears.

   
    

4. Click Browse to specify the root directory where Nexaweb Platform was installed on your system and then click Finish.
   A progress indicator appears and then a prompt to overwrite the Nexaweb Platform files with the current version of Nexaweb Platform.

   
    

5. Click Yes to All.
   For Ajax:   A progress indicator appears and then a second prompt to overwrite Nexaweb Platform files
                     with the current version of Nexaweb Platform.
   For Java:  Go on to Step 7.
    
6. Click Yes to All.
   A dialog appears indicating the Nexaweb Application project has been upgraded successfully.
    
7. Click OK. 
    
8. The EasyTrader (Ajax) or EasyTraderClassic (Java) project appears in the Navigator view of the Nexaweb Java or Ajax Visual Editing perspective.
   To open either of these perspectives:
   - Click >> beside SVN Respository in the top right corner and select Nexaweb Java or Ajax Visual Editing, or
   - Select Window > Open Perspective > Other and select Nexaweb Java\Ajax Visual Editing from the Open Perspective list, then click OK.
